Painters in Encino
Established Valley homes on big lots. The work skews toward interiors that have lived through forty or fifty years and exteriors that are due for a thoughtful repaint.
Homes here
Post-war ranch homes, Tudor revivals, mid-century traditionals, and the occasional contemporary remodel. Mature trees and broad setbacks define the streets south of Ventura.
Local exposure
Encino takes the same Valley summers as the rest of the area — sustained heat and direct sun on south- and west-facing exteriors. Shade from mature trees softens the load on many properties.

A note from Paul
Most of the Encino work I do is for homeowners who have lived in their house long enough to know exactly which rooms need attention and which exterior corners are due. I take that kind of conversation seriously. — Paul
Questions
- Our home is forty years old — does that change the prep?
- Yes. Older interiors often need patch and seal work that's invisible on the estimate and decisive on the finish. We slow down for it — it's the difference between a finish that looks right and one that holds.
- Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
- Yes to all three — California State License Board, classification C-33, license number 713477, carried with bonding and liability insurance. Twenty-five years on file.
- What do you paint?
- Residential interiors and exteriors, commercial work, small-to-mid apartment buildings, and specialty coatings — lacquer, oil-based systems, and lead-paint remediation.
- How do estimates work?
- Written estimates after walking the property. We quote scope, not just square footage — so comparing it to another painter's bid actually makes sense.
- How much does a typical project cost?
- Most projects we run fall between $5,000 and $25,000. Specialty coatings and large-format exterior work can scale higher. We quote from the property, not from a phone call.
